The Canadian Telework Association (CTA) is a Canadian non-profit telework association dedicated to promoting telework in Canada.

CTA have well over 1,000 members, primarily from Canada, but also from dozens of countries. They include individuals, corporate bodies (small, medium and large), academics, and governments (at all levels).

CompuStream became a member because, since the implementation of its Telecommuting program, it has been searching for information and experiences on the subject to improve the benefits of the program. Because of CTA dedication to promote telework, it is a resourceful place to find what it needed.

“Telecommuting is the ability to do your work at a location other than your official duty station. For some CompuStream employees, that is feasible because of their type of work that basically requires thinking, writing and telephone-intensive tasks like: data analysis, reviewing and obtaining information, writing reports, setting up meetings, follow up on sales leads, among others. With portable computers, high speed telecommunications links, and ever-present pocket communications devices, our employees can work almost anywhere at least some of the time,” said Maximilian Immo Orm Gorissen, CompuStream Chief Executive Officer.

As a new member, CTA assume CompuStream agree that telework is a positive phenomenon that can benefit you, your organization, your region and your country.

For more information, CTA can be reached on the web at www.ivc.ca.
